Why Red Eye Fund exists

Red Eye Fund started with a cancelled flight - the founder's own. The flight died, the plans died with it, and the money never came back. Even the travel insurance that was supposed to cover exactly this paid nothing. No refund, no follow-up, not even a reply. Just silence, and a bank account that was lighter for the privilege.

That experience is the whole company. Nobody who finds Red Eye Fund should ever have to go through it: chasing money you are legally owed, alone, while the airline waits for you to give up.

What we do about it

Under EU261/UK261, airlines owe passengers real compensation - EUR 250, 400, or 600 per passenger - for long delays, short-notice cancellations, denied boarding, and missed connections. Most people never claim it. The forms are buried, the replies are slow, and giving up is exactly what the process is designed to make you do.
