Frequently asked questions
Straight answers. No fine print games.
How much can I get?
Under EU261 / UK261, compensation is typically €250, €400 or €600 per passenger depending on the flight distance, when the delay or cancellation was your airline’s responsibility and you arrived 3+ hours late (or the flight was cancelled / you were denied boarding).
What does it cost?
Nothing upfront. We take 25% of whatever we actually recover for you. If we recover nothing, you pay nothing.
Which flights are covered?
Flights departing from the EU or UK, or arriving into the EU/UK on an EU/UK airline. Most major carriers (Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz, BA, Lufthansa, etc.) are covered when the rules apply.
What if it was weather or air traffic control?
Those are usually classed as “extraordinary circumstances” and the airline does not owe compensation. We’ll tell you honestly if that’s the case instead of taking your claim on false hope.
How long does it take?
Many claims are resolved in a few weeks. Some take longer if the airline disputes. We handle the chasing so you don’t have to.
Do I need to send documents?
We’ll ask for the essentials once (booking confirmation, boarding pass if you have it, ID). No endless document ping-pong.
Is this legal advice?
No. We help you exercise rights that already exist under Regulation (EC) 261/2004 and the UK equivalent. For complex legal questions you should speak to a qualified lawyer.
Why do you ask for the ticket price?
EU261 compensation (€250 / €400 / €600) is fixed by distance and is separate from any refund of the ticket itself. When a flight is cancelled you are usually also entitled to a full refund of what you paid. Giving us the ticket price lets us claim both the compensation and any refund you are owed in one go.
